Scotland were unlucky not to go through however I think they have paid for a lack of any consistent threat through scoring tries. If they get that right they will rise back up the rankings and be threat to any team.

I would be wary of France. In the last World Cup France were pretty rubbish and the All Blacks sublime. However it was France who pulled out a great game, their only one of the tournament to proceed to the semi final.

I would also add that I am sick of our press digging for "controversy" when there blatantly isn't any.
The latest article on the BBC website says:
Rugby World Cup 2011: Tuilagi fined for wearing sponsored gumshield

This headline tries insintuates that he has been paid to wear a branded gumshield and that he has deliberalty broken the rules. They continue this line of thought for the first paragraph. However read a little further and you discover that actually it was his U18 England gum shield and he has just been wearing that one since then. No mailice or fore thought given.

I think our journalists should be fined for making mountains out of mole hills and basically being d*cks on a continual basis.

Wales Ireland is going to be a cracking match. Anyone got a prediction? Come on Cozza call your semi final berths!

Re: Youth Nutrition Starter Plan

Magnesium oil will be very beneficial for people who are in frail care centers and at the stage of their lives when they are nearer to end of life. Many people of this age have all sorts aches and pains. Care givers can use magnesium oil to massage their hands, back and feet. People at this stage of their lives should be able to see their last days out with peace and dignity. It should be important that these people are able to live as comfortably as possible. Furthermore, these people also need to have help in the way of care givers to aid them with their aches and pains.

Re: Hooker’s Role- Attack

You're right. Like many seem to agree, hookers must be the fourth loosie on the field and all of its implications. However, I feel like many overlook the fact that they are still members of the tight five and the front row and must play as such. Hookers must still carry over the mentality and game play that was seen in hookers of the past, players who can hold their own with the big boys. Their unique position in the modern game of rugby calls for them to not only be a loosie, able to be mobile and available in back play as a supporting player but also as a tight five, able to tackle and ruck with even behemoth props and locks. As you said, "a mobile hooker running freely is utterly demoralizing for any opposition" but a mobile hooker running freely who can also play like a prop only spells disaster and migraines for any opposition.

Re: Pre-Season Tackle Bag Work (Part 3)

Good drill, but I'm confused at colours of cones / positions. In distance order you have: tackle bag, yellow @ 5m, red @10m , blue @ 15m, but with players starting at yellow, then going to blue, setting ball, & continuing to tackle bag. Should player not start at blue, setting at yellow, then making tackle, with 2nd player leaving tackle bag, picking up ball at yellow etc ??
Yours etc.

I know a good few centres, wing forwards, etc, who have tried it and they have found it really good for improving their passing. I have a question as to where forwards should be placed in the backline off a defensive short lineout. Say a 5 man. The Lions got caught in 2009 second test by having a flanker as first defender. If you put the two forwards together in the backline they can be targeted with decoys and a pace mismatch. If a back is between them there can be a dogs leg in the d-line due to pace mismatch and it disrupts the flow of the slide. Any thoughts anyone?

Re: Multi Phase Plays

Thanks Cozza< Advice I'm going to practice with my team tonight, Do you split the Pitch vertically as well as horizontally so different style of team play can be used? In own 22 battle for ball, 22 to halfway reform structure, halfway to their 22 set it up, 22 to tryline attack plays? or is it better to keep it more fluid?

Re: Back To Basics

Great Advice.
